“Like a dream you can hardly remember, I create nondescript images and forms which engage in a strong sense of atmosphere. Each painting perceives the notion of time passing and the total silence of a moment held in suspension. They are cryptic images of beings, worldviews, and the boundaries between them, ultimately pointing to another change in scenery in the following works. They are the capstone signatures of a perception, confessing paradoxes unapologetically… Temporal images of death, looking in on infinitesimal moments with extreme focus, evoking subconscious memory and emotional content. Though shrouded in mystery, with pain comes understanding. The natural unfolding of our experiences in focused states, the faith that supports it, and the beauty that evolves from it is the central focus of my work. ”
